audience research and feedback

Audience research 





           Gender
       My models are going to be of different genders to emphasise to the audience that we are aimed towards a demographic audience.

·         Ethnicity

        In my adverts I am going to have models with different ethnicity's and races to show it doesn't what ethnicity you have 'you food' is for everybody. 

·         Age
       My adverts are going to be based of topics that can be related from the young audience 16-25 years of age.The models are going of different ages.

·     Region 9 regional identity
     In my adverts I will  use Essex stereotypes throughout ranging from,pearl white teeth,full face of makeup,over the top clothing and references to drinking and partying.

    
·         Socio-Economic

Based on my income bracket I will have people looking presentable and other models looking informal which is the stereotypical vie on Essex people.This will be aimed towards a lower social grade range however my advert will be more relatable towards those in with lower income.
My advert will be aimed towards the straggler as it has references of them 'living for today' for a example going out partying and the next day they're hangover.Alcohol and junk food will be shown in my adverts.





My survey:

Here my results show me that the majority of my audience is within the age range. This conveys my survey represents the right audience.My audience has responses from both genders which also conveys I have the correct data.




Over 70% of the people who done my survey were from the Essex region this was important as the advert will be targeted towards the people in this region.In addition the slogan is a good representation of the stereotypes of Essex people.






Over 90% of the responses said my advert had a positive reaction ,this conveys everybody didn't take this in a negative way and wasn't offended.This means I don't need to make my adverts more subtle. Furthermore, the audience agree my mock ups appeal to everyones ethnicity and that my advert is inclusive.




100% of the audience replied saying my advert is not offensive thus conveys the advert isn't inappropriate to use. The humour is not taken the wrong way from any of the Essex audience.


Majority of the audience said my colours within my mock up are suitabe, however 4 people pointed out the blue and orange fonts do not stand out.This has led me to the decision to change the font colours for my final adverts.A high majority of the audience believe my locations shots are suitable for my adverts.



Most of the audiences reactions said they liked the creativity I had within my adverts and that the informal adverts are bright and unique.I like these responses as my aim was to have a funny and entertaining adverts.80% preferred the logo of the wine glass this means I will be using this in my final adverts.



Lots of the responses stated I should change the colour of the font to a different colour and a few people believe I should make the adverts more simpler.By doing this I am going to use more gender neutral colours.



conclusion

I have decided I am going to change the colour of the strapline and have the wine glass logo within my final adverts.I have also decided to change the layout of the adverts by having more room space around the subjects of my adverts.I have also decided this to make my adverts less distracting and more simplistic.
